General

The website Icelandcraft.is  is operated by GB Trading ehf, a company registered under the Laws of Iceland. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, add or remove portions of this policy at any time by posting such changes to this page. Such changes will be effective upon posting.

Shipping

Shipping costs are added to the total price before the payment is made. Products are shipped via Íslandspóstur and shipping costs are as shipping pricelist of Íslandspóstur  (www.postur.is/EN ) at time of order.

Delivery and delivery time

Icelandcraft.is will dispatch the approved orders as quickly as possible and in the order that they have been received. We aim to dispatch every order within two business days from the date of the order, with the exception of sale and peak periods where this may take longer.

Estimated delivery time within Iceland is 4-10 business days from the date of order, but 9-16 business days for international orders.

Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only. Icelandcraft.is is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.

Pricing Policy and Charges

All prices displayed in Icelandcraft.is are presented in Icelandic kronas (ISK). All prices displayed in Icelandcraft online shop include country specific Value Added Tax (VAT) and exclude shipping fees. If you are a customer from outside Iceland the VAT will be deducted before payment. Icelandcraft.is is not liable for any cost in relations to import taxes or customs duties at the destination country.

The shipping fees will be added to the order in the checkout step.

Payment

The seller uses a safe payment system from SaltPay. It is possible to pay with any credit card from all the main credit card companies.

Return Policy

The customers have 14 days to cancel their order, provided that the product hasn’t been opened or used and that the product is returned in good conditions and its original package. The right of return does not apply to goods purchased On-Sale, unless the goods turn out to be faulted. If a product, purchased On-Sale, turns out to be faulted Icelandcraft’s policy on faulted products apply (see below).

Faulty Goods

Goods are faulty if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault occurs within two week from the day of delivery of the goods. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. For faulty items Icelandcraft online shop will make a full refund to you, including for return shipping, as soon as possible. Buyers wanting to return faulty goods have to turn in a copy of their receipt along with the faulty goods. If the same product is not available, you are entitled to a full refund including for shipping and return. If you would like to exchange a faulty item instead of obtaining a refund, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product, subject to availability.

Prices

The prices are in Icelandic krona ISK including VAT. The price can change at any time without any notice.

Confidentiality

The personal information you forward to Icelandcraft.is will only be used in order to fulfill the undertakings Icelandcraft.is have and to assure you the best service. Icelandcraft.is will not let a third party see or use your personal details in any cirkumstances. You have the right to see your personal details upon request.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Any dispute that might arise in relation to this site will be settled in accordance with the law of Iceland by the District Court of Northwest Iceland.

Laws that apply to this Terms are the following: provisions on distance and online sales nr. 96/1992, provisions on online purchases nr. 50/2000, and provisions on customer purchases nr. 48/2003, as applicable.  The countdown on all the deadlines mentioned in the law nr. 96/1992 begins when the products have been received.
